Private sessions and classes

Sara offers all levels of Hatha Yoga classes in private or group sessions in Vancouver. Each class includes Asana or Posture sequences, Pranayama or Breath work and will end with Shavasana, a pose to encourage Deep Relaxation. All classes are created to accommodate the needs of the individual students by modifying classical yoga poses to fit every body.


Classes vary in length from 60 - 90 minutes:

  • Introduction to Hatha Yoga - For your first yoga class, we will cover in depth the basic postures taught in Hatha Yoga classes, modifications, variations and how to safely get in and out of each pose.
  • Gentle - This class focuses on recovering from injury or a period of prolonged absence from your yoga practice.
  • Intermediate - This class is both challenging and rewarding and is designed for students who have a regular Asana practice.
  • All Levels - This class is directed toward groups. Postures are taught in a clear and safe way, enabling all to participate.
  • Kids Yoga - This fun 1 hour class teaches yoga postures through various stories, songs and games. Children will learn how to listen to their bodies, identify the mind, and develop greater spatial awareness of their bodies.

Classes are drop in, $10 for first class, $17 there after; and run from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

In all classes please wear comfortable clothing so that you can easily breathe and move.
